TMA Five Diamond Certification

ASI achieved in 2006 and has maintained its Central Station Alarm Association (TMA) Five Diamond Certifications and is committed to serving the public through the professional training of all our Monitoring Station Operators. The TMA Five Diamond Central Station designation is granted to those Monitoring Response Centers who satisfy all of the requirements of the Five Points of Excellence:

1. Commitment to random inspections and qualify criteria standards by a nationally recognized testing laboratory such as FM Global, Intertek/ETL and UL.
2. Commitment to the highest levels of customer service.
3. Commitment to ongoing education and testing by having 100% of Monitoring Station dispatchers certified using the TMA online training series.

ASAP Saves Time, Improves Accuracy, and Increases Efficiency between PSAPs and Monitoring Centers

The Automated Secure Alarm Protocol (ASAP) is a national service that is the next generation for the processing of information from alarm monitoring stations needing emergency dispatch. This protocol was founded through the joint partnership of APCO, TMA and NLETS – receiving government recognition and funding since 2010.

What is ASAP?

The Automated Secure Alarm Protocol (ASAP), launched in 2011 as a public-private partnership, is designed to increase the efficiency and reliability of emergency electronic signals from monitoring companies to PSAPs. ASAP utilizes ANSI standard protocols developed cooperatively by the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) and The Monitoring Association. With ASAP, critical life safety signals and accurate information are processed in seconds, not minutes, through the Nlets system of state-to-state PSAP communication, insuring that complete and accurate information is transmitted to the PSAP every time.
